World Youth Skills Day, celebrated every July 15th, is a global call to action to invest in the skills, knowledge, and creativity of young people. As youth unemployment remains high especially in rural areas; this day reminds us of the power of skills in shaping resilient economies and sustainable food systems.
Why Youth Skills Matter in the Agri-Food Sector
In Kenya and across Africa, agriculture is the backbone of rural livelihoods. However, many young people face challenges accessing training, financing, and markets. At Sustainet Group, we are committed to youth empowerment in agriculture, unlocking potential and building sustainable futures through skills development and mentorship.
